Source code, documentation, a sample website
Node 24+Cloudflare Workers
You need documentation, a help center, or a blog inside your product. Hosted docs platforms keep your content on their servers, require their own login, and charge per seat. A headless CMS gives you an API, but you still build the editor, reader, access control, and publishing.
LayerText is the complete source code for a document engine that you deploy to your own Cloudflare account. It runs as one Worker with a D1 database and an R2 bucket, and deploys with five commands.
Published pages render to a Canvas surface. Search highlights matches as you type, focus mode dims everything outside the passage you are reading, and text reflows smoothly when the theme or column width changes. Readers can open a linked document beside the current one, then expand it to a full page.
Several people can edit the same document at once. Each editor sees the others' cursors, can chat at the cursor, and can draw ink on the page. Undo reverts only your own changes.
